Re: Naturalization - English Language

Did you meet the knowledge of English requirement as part of an indefinite leave application made on or after 28 October 2013? = YES
Irrespective, should I take a UK NARIC Certificate.

Re: Calculating the days outside UK - Technical query reques

It may not be counted as 2 days absence but we should report that we were outside UK. Pls refer pages 21-22 in the above link. For the Tier 1 (Investor), Tier 1 (Entrepreneur), Tier 1 (Exceptional talent) and highly skilled migrant (applying under appendix S of the rules) categories there is no requ...

Re: Calculating the days outside UK - Technical query reques

Pls refer page 20. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/275188/ILRcont_periods.pdf Short visits outside the UK on weekends or other non-working days are consistent with the basis of stay and do not break the continuity of leave. You must count such absences towar...

Re: ILR Contractor absences

Would you be able to get a business letter. From some of the posts, I understand letters from employer are not needed. But will be good to have some supporting just in case. ILR is an imp step and I would not take chances. I had been out on business travel for very few days and have submitted letter...

Re: ILR Contractor absences

Chaitu, your absences are well in control. So it really should not matter. If I were you, I would complete the application as accurately as possible and support with evidence; so that you can justify and talk confidently when any questions (just in case) are asked. While reporting, it would be good ...

Hi akan, request you to take a second opinion on this. c95tdg replied only for your statement (and he is correct in doing so). c95tdg did not say that 12 L applies only to mixture visas. The way I read it, 12L is not exclusive to mixture of visas but is applicable to Tier 1 General Migrant on its ow...

I didn't get your question. But will try to ans. These were almost the same list of docs I submitted for my tier 1 extension with dependants but with latest dates. Hence I continued with those. In the last page of the application, there is a section to mention what docs we are submitting and how man...
