Unless it is expiring, why cant u wait for a month or 2 more, and u will be on safe side.
Although the calculations looks fine, and u should be fine.
When did the visa start initially.
iWorker thank you for your reply

Re: New rules to Tier 1 (general): 3-5 years for 2nd extensi

Hi I have called HO today to enquire about how many yeas 2nd extension I’ll get because I’m short 2.5 years. The gentleman told me that I’ll get 2 years extension (pre 6 April 2010 case). I told him I’m 2.5 years short and he said there is new rule in place for people who need more time to qualify f...

Re: ILR for dependence 2 years rule or not?

i had (kind off) similar query and i talked to HomeOffice Call center.

Basically what they said is when you wife first granted Tier 1 dependent visa. if it is pre july 2012 then she had to spend 2 years for all other scanerios it is 5 years.

Its better to call them and check with home office.

Re: New rules to Tier 1 (general): 3-5 years for 2nd extensi

How to check if this rule is actually implemented. There is nothing on UKBA website about it. I have pre Aril 2010 case and i phone Home Office and they did not know about this rule. The lady is saying if i have my first visa before 6 April 2010 then i get 2 years extension (even if it is second ext...

@naveediiqbal Yes to both of your questions. Re: ILR for Tier 1 due to absence and dependent expiry of vi

@naveediiqbal and @O_Relly it is getting really confusing. I have read continuous residency guidelines following is link https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/275188/ILRcont_periods.pdf it clearly says you can be outside uk for less than 180days in a year but your...

Re: How to delay the extension approval date

I was out of UK on work. I heard that leaves within 180 days will not be allowed if you are on work overseas therefore I am concerned.
That is new to me as well. I have not seen anything like that in Continuous residency pdf. Because during my time out of UK i was doing job in Dubai.

Re: How to delay the extension approval date

Hi naveediiqbal i'm in same situation as you are now. Only difference i'm bit LATE than you are. I came to UK (2nd time after 15 month gap) on 1 Aug 2012. According to my calculation even if i got 2 year extension in April 2015 i'll be fine for ILR. i'm calculating my continuous residency time as be...
