Re: British Passport for a children born in the UK

We have a child born in the UK. We are eligible for ILR this June. We like to travel as soon as possible to our home country (Malaysia) when we get the ILR through PEO appointment. I understand that the child is eligible for a British passport as soon as we get ILR. But is it possible for him to app...

Hi,

I'm having a same situation as well. My wife would like to get Tier1 Dependant but she's on WP.

I heard with the help of solicitors / agents, it would be possible for her to apply within UK. How true is that?

Thank you.

Depends on the company as per how long the notice period for resigning is, but they are usually both 30 days. Her HR gave her the impression that notice period given by the Home Office will be different. But her HR couldn't give her a definite answer. So, let me get this straight, it doesn't matter...

Notice period for being made redundant / resignation. Same?

Hi, I'm asking this question on behalf of my wife. A little bit of the background story here: She's currently working in the UK on WP. Recently her company is going through restructuring and it is very likely that she will be laid off. Even if she's not, she is thinking of resigning as she's not hap...

Hi everyone,

My wife has the situation. She would like to apply as a dependent when she decided not to work with her current company. She's on WP.

What are the limitations as a dependent when it comes to working? In terms of type of work and working hours per week.

Thank you.
