I was stupid enough to trust UKBA website,waiting time of 75% in 4 weeks.Doesn't seem to be so in majority.

Hi,
My primary application for tier 2 was rejected on the grounds of bank statements(a different reason than yours). Admin review was won, but took apporx 8 weeks in Nov 2009, in chennai India.

They can do it online in less than an hour if paying card, by but paying by cheque or anyother mode takes upto 2 weeks.

My experience

Hi, I recently applied for tier 2 visa, from India, while my tier 2 visa admn review was in progress. A few days later, I was given a telephone call from British High commission, that my admn review is successful and hence I need to withdraw my new appln. (with refunds). Hope this helps.

HI,Yes, Even if the job is on shortage occupation list, you will require certificate of sponsorship. Your employer needs to mention it on application for cos to the Home Office. Resident labour market test is excluded for such posts. All the best
