Tier 2 visa processing times?

Does anyone know how long Tier 2 visa processing is taking currently for applications from within the UK? Apologies if this is a redundant post; I took a look at the most recent topics and didn't see anything addressing this issue, but I could have missed it....

Hello ... Requested for unrestricted COS as we need to appoint a migrant who is in UK as old work permit holder and the visa expires in almost 2/3weeks. Any help or advice from you will be highly appreciated. Thanks. Dear Experts ... Please note we have applied for Tier2 Sponsor licence and we have...

There's a whole thread about how to buy time here: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=112044

Did they say what dates in April they were working on, by the way?

No, they're just slow. I'm sure they'd blame the Olympics. I just wish they'd update their homepage to reflect the delayed completion time; right now it still says 65% of cases are resolved within 4 weeks. Right.

Well, I would guess, that if your company has been granted the licence, you guys are probably not following this link any more :-)) I'll try to ask differently: Is there anyone, whose application for a licence is being considered for longer than 3 months? We're on 19 weeks as of today and still wai...

Hi muhdkhokhar, You are absolutely right we have to raise petition against it. I am with you. But it is matter of employer and they are not keen to hire us. So we can not do more about it rather then waiting. Today it is more then 5 month my employer applied but no any news yet. No any answer of ou...

Re: Any update? My company sent an application in June

Hi, My company sent an application for sponsorship licence in june, any idea when are they expected to receive the licence? Also can a candidate directly request the status from the home office? thanks, They are taking forever.Average is 4-5 months. My company has been waiting for 4 months now. And...

Wow, that's really uncalled for. All I'm saying is that since my company's sponsorship license seems to be at least a month from coming through, and there won't probably be any way for me to expedite my own Tier 2 visa once it has been granted, I will probably have to apply by post, and thus won't h...

If visa close to expiry, can you be refused re-entry?

My company applied for its sponsorship license on May 16, and my friend's company applied for its license on May 17. Because they have a lawyer with connections, their license has already been granted, while I'm assuming my company's is still bogged down in this "We are now assessing applications we...

Thank you for your reply. No, they're applying for the first time. If it's going to take over four months, they should say it's going to take at least four months instead of posting shorter time periods on their website. It's really dishonest. :( You're right sir. It took my company 6 months to get...

Applying for COS

My company is currently bogged down in waiting for our sponsorship license to come through (applied 16 May). I need an unrestricted COS. Does it automatically come with the sponsorship license, or will we need to apply for the COS and wait again before I can apply for my visa (and if so, how long do...

Gameover, are you still in the UK? If so, does it work for someone to "buy time" on an expired visa, Chris_g642? I don't understand.

This is crazy

My company applied for its sponsorship license on May 16. My friend's company coincidentally applied for its own license on May 17. Her current visa expires in December or January, but they did their application through a solicitor who called up the UKBA a couple of weeks ago and told them to hurry ...

what you think about my last post in other thread regarding VAT document??
You are right! But it has changed since March when I first started working on it. At that point, the copy of Appendix A I had said "and". I'm very glad it's changed now!

But it is the one they link to, isn't it? I had saved a version of Appendix A and it just says "and." This is truly confusing. I wonder which one is correct.

For Group 5, it just says "and," unfortunately. No "or." Where did you see "and/or"?
