i wiil advise u to go it alone. applying for spouse visa means u rely on ur wife to stay in this country for the next two years.in some cases these women take advantage of you. pls dont get me wrong, not all of them but in my case i went through hell as my wife's mind was poluted by her witch mother...

Cheers! I finally received my ILR yesterday. And i beleive anyone on waiting lists should also be looking forward with courage that it will come soon.

Hey! i applied on the 23rd June 09, and received acknowledge letter after two days. And according to what an immigration officer told me, my application was going to be held till the 11th July 09, as the spouse visa was issued on the 28th June 07, and i came to UK on 8th August 07.
