Hi,

I am trying to find out if NHS in Scotland covers for visit visa holders here for less than 6 months.

Is NHS service free for them

Is it better to get a health insurance in India before travelling to UK for short stay visit visa holders?

Yes I know about the visa being free, but its the hassle of dealing with VFS office who are agency for the embassy, a complete pain to deal with.

So for the EEA family PR , what SET form would that have been, I know not in our case as it was SET O for my wife.

If your spouse has completed 5y as your depedent o PBS to ILR, so she doesnt have to wait for a 1y after that to apply for naturalisation.

Thanks for your reply. So we have to fill section 5 but not everything in it is relevant to PBS dependent applicant.

Could you give some advice on how long postal applications take. I remember doing mine via premium service.

Is there any way to retrieve the IHS username. Since I know the email address and there wasnt email come across with the IHS username.

There is bound to be some IT dept who can trace it, they should have had a option recover the username, but they dont have that on their website.

The application was the same one pbs dependent extension as per the advise here, but yes i was confused on when the IHS website asked how long the primary persons visa is valid for.
