yes you can apply as long as you have ILR for a year if your working you need to send prove of ur time in the country. I hope this help you.

well if his children has IRL then they can be naturalised to become british if they dont then they would need to apply for ILR. Read up more on this forum you can find out alot if still unsure ask a lawyer (one of those free ones)
