Don't think this should be a problem. Colleagues can know you personally.

Just make sure that other conditions about the referees are met.

Koll and document requirement

Hi, Wanted to confirm my understanding of spouse visa. 1. If the spouse is from non-EU and has a naturalisation certifcate (but no passport) then the naturalisation certificate is sufficient to apply for spouse visa 2. If language requirement via education are no longer valid on pbs calculator, trin...

Re: Payment Declined

There is no standard home office guideline on payment processing timelines and delays due to payment error.

Going by Feb and Mar naturalisation applications max time they are taking to debit accounts is 1-2 weeks. I expect it should remain same in your case now.

Re: REASON TO SURRENDER PAKISTAN CITIZENSHIP

I think kudos to you for trying to deal with the situation of being in a dual nationality situation. I am an Indian and on the path of citizenship but unhappy somewhere as my blue passport will have to be surrendered. I envy Pakistani citizens as well as those of other countries where you can keep d...

Re: Urgent English Test Question

Just to give you guys an update - yes I was a bit pissed (and still am) about the Knoll requirements being changed retrospectively (although I saw some staunch defense of that) there isn't much i can do in the immediate time. Hence I called up NARIC. They asked for my uni transcripts and degree cert...

Re: CAn I skip 1 year? (Apply after 5 years in the UK)

If your husband gets his citizenship then you can apply as spouse of BC as long as you have been here for at least last 3 years. There is no need to wait for 5+1 in your case.

Yes your first entry will still be 2004.

I would wait for another forum member to advise on your travel proof. The other option is that you can call or write to ukba and seek their advice as you still have a lot of time to apply

You would definitely need to tick on director. Did you also during this time act as being self employed? This will depend on the tax scheme that you are working on - is it a trust or something of that sort? If yes then tick this option also. The hmrc self assessment is the tax information that a ind...

Re: Urgent English Test Question

Thanks for your reply. I am a bit puzzled on how the home office can retrospectively change the law for people who came in on HSMP (I came in 2008) and who had presented university paper saying medium of instruction was English. This piece of paper was recognized by the same agencies back then. Do y...

ILR - Jumping red light

Hi All,

I have a ILR and recently I was caught jumping a red light by a camera. I still haven't got the details of the action DVLA is going to take but I am concerned about its effect.

Will this restrict me from applying for citizenship?

Regards,
