Re: Help with the 18600 threshold

Hi there...

I would ask the employer to confirm this in writing and use a sticky post it type thing to highlight the advanced payment received.

Re: Spouse Visa Confusion - HELP Please

It's possible that the email was sent in error and as a result was recalled - hence why it 'disappeared'. Hopefully the application is being considered but just an error on their part.

Re: Appendix 2 combine salary & non salaried jobs

As you have been in both jobs for 6 months you could use Cat A.
It would be better to show the non salaried formula to clearly demonstrate that you meet the income requirement - I used a spreadsheet of my weekly pay for the six month period then the sum at the bottom.

Re: Sponsor Accomodation

They may question the distance between the house you share with your brother and your job if you use that address, so stick with where you actually reside if it's ok for your wife to join you there. You just need the agreement and written agreement from your landlord for your wife to join you.

Re: Need advice on accomodation

Ok, so letter from her and evidence of her property ownership or a tenancy agreement.
Not sure why you have been advised not to show the council tax bill, it's not an essential document but many provide it as additional evidence of accommodation.

Re: Need advice on accomodation

As long as you both on the council tax bill I don't think it matters who it's addressed to.
You will need the tenancy agreement and a letter from your landlord agreeing to your spouse also moving in.

Re: Is it possible to start job before Spousal visa is appro

If you earn the necessary amount you can apply now with the job offer. Yes it's difficult to provide specific dates for anything post-application because you just don't know, but I would speak to the employer, they may be flexible given the immigration side of things. Many people opt for the sponsor...

Re: APPLY FOR SPOUSE VISA WHILE RECEVING MATERNITY ALLOWANCE

If the spouse visa is the correct route then you gather the same financial documents required but for the 6 or 12 months prior to maternity leave.

Re: Tenancy Agreement require documentation

Your landlord needs to confirming their consent to your spouse joining you, size of the property and that your contract is currently rolling. Make sure they include all their contact details just in case. You may not need the inspection report as that's usually required if there's more than just the...

Re: How Much Communication Evidence Is Enough?

Was it not made clear during the online process? My understanding is that for countries who are now processing settlement applications in Sheffield, the applicant must send ALL documents there. The exception is if it's a priority application, then the local office processes it. As I thought as well...

So add the 6 months pay then devide by 6 and then times by 12
Check your figures using this calculation. You don't meet the requirements with just his salary. You will need to gather documentation for your rental income and/or savings also.

For my husband's FLR application I included EDF bills i had printed myself. Looked exactly like the letters I used to get. If you are not 100% certain about doing this then do as Seagul suggested.

Re: Priority option possible if already had prior refusal?

My understanding is that any prior refusal regardless of category means an applicant is not eligible for priority service. It won't be an issue as such in regards to decision-making, just that you will have wasted money on a service you're likely not to receive. It is the same with in-country applic...

Payslips sent electronically need to be stamped or an additional letter from employer authenticating them.
Bank statements sent by post do not need any further authentication.

You can use your income. You may want to mention that she is employed but for the purposes of the application you are using your income if you want to give a full picture but they won't question it if you dont.
