Hi SetO30June I applied under Set(O) category. But my current visa is valid until Nov 2012 so not an issue. I am planning to call Home Office this week or move the issue through local MP as there is no point in withdrawing the application after having waited for 6 months. Hope they have not misplace...

Finally going to complete 6 months end of this week and still no signs of the passport. Guys think twice before you send a postal application as we are kept in the dark until you receive your passports from the Home Office. Absolutely no response. I am planning to take up the case with the local MP....

What you could do is go to the bank, use one of those machines where you could print the statment for a given date range, and take it to the front desk (who normally fixes the appointment), they would stamp it (no signatures) as Ihave got it done quite a few times for other purposes...Are you inneed...
