Hi Thanks for your wishes. As far I KNOW(i emphasise) the application form doesnt ask you if you had overstayed which is an advantage.Also for the period based on which your claiming ur ILR, there is no illegal stay, which is another good thing.They wont be able to find out when you left the country...

Section 7 of the application form(SET O) asks you for all ur absences outside the country.I think they cross verify it across your application and passport,and calculate it. Hi Srikanth No they did not ask me any question about why i was away for more than 180 days.What they check as soon as you give your applcation in her hands is, have you been outside the coutry for more than 90 days at a stretch, and i havent been outside for more than 50 days ever. Got ILR on 20th Nov 2009

Hi All

Thanks a lot for all the help and support with te information on this forum.We have been granted ILR yesterday.We went for premium service at croydon yesterday.People were so friendly and i felt they had no intention to reject application unless its a obvious reason.

Eligible for ILR on Dec 16th
