From the date when the application was approved & the letter of approval is received from IND, the expiry date should also be mentioned on the residency card.

Re: Long term Visa for Parents (non EU)

Hello, Yes you can bring your parent under EU free movement directive, since you are a British citizen and practicing EU free movement rights in Germany so you are eligible, however you will need to prove that parents are dependent on yourself, as a normal rule of thumb you will need to show money t...

Re: Surrinder Singh application advice

Hello Bobby16, So basically you have two routes available. 1) EU Route : In this case you will use the Surinder Singh ruling to return back to Ireland and your non-eu spouse can retain the EU Residence card that was issued by UK, in this instance you will going to use EU1 form and attach EU residenc...

Re: EUFAM Success - Dependent Parent

I'm an Irish citizen so (for some reason) that makes it much harder...... You mean you are a DUAL citizen holding Irish and some other European country's nationality ?because under Irish domestic law it's quite difficult to bring parents and EUFAM doesn't applies to Irish citizens, the exception is...

Re: Surinder Singh Route via Denmark/Sweden

Re: EEA family permit application while still in Ireland

Its flexible. The applicant can apply to move with or to join their sponsor. So the sponsor can be about to go to UK or sponsor can already be in UK . The applicant must be outside UK when they apply for their FP. (its the applicant who applies - not the sponsor). Hello Noajthan, My mum will be vis...
