Re: Work Permit 2006 OCT

I fall into the same category (work permit), I am eligible for ILR on OCT 2011. I am short of few pennies on the required hourly rate. I cannot understand Akartikeyan's advise to re-apply for extension as Tier 2 migrant because to extend are you not supposed to have the same earning requirement as ...

For some reasons, HR do not have copy of WP1 and WP1x. I really need copy of these forms so I can match my job d...

Found something else as well, on the MAC consultation paper, on page 7 section 2.20, it defines only PSW and ICT as "temporary migration", and I think that's what Theresa May meant when she said "temporary work should not lead to permanent settlement. That means those already holding Tier1 & 2 are ...

What is given in your Work Permit letter must be the basic salary. I believe you are entitled to have overtime & bonus on top of this in addition to a normal yearly salary review. (You should probably wait for senior members to confirm this) This is a quote from the Home Office website You will not...

Hooray!! After last 3 days of panic, we finally got our ILR at Croydon on Sat. Luckily, the caseworkers didn't seem to ask about the change in job title. They did ask for 5 years P60, I found all mine luckily. She checked the entry and exit stamps on passport for a while but didn't ask any question...

Oh thanks... I also discussed with a solicitor and she said for a work permit holder work has to be in accordance with the type of work the visa was issued. As I understand it the work has to be in accordance with the type of work the visa was issued for. Plus if u do it, tell the taxman and pay the tax, or he will have your balls. Thanks for your reply. I only sold two used items (VAT is already paid on it). Both items are less than £200. Do you thin...
