UK Passport - Referee question

Hi,
I'm about to apply for first UK passport after naturalisation. The passport application requires signature of one refree, question is can the refree be the same as the one that signed my naturalisation form?

Hi, I'm no expert but have some experience in this. I think you are right to be worried about him not being able to get back if he left for his motherland. There is a good chance he will not be allowed even a visit visa for a while. As you 2 are not married and can not prove that you have lived toge...

Hi, In my case, I had to have our certificate officially translated into English. This was done by an official translating agency in our home country and that is seen by HO as original. Did you send HO your officially translated document or just the Danish one?

Visa

As far as I know, they do not interview all applicants. If the info already provided is not sufficent, then they will call you in for the interview but majority of cases these days are decided without the need for interview as per my wife's case which was 2 years ago.

Sent application (FLR(M)) on 04/Aug/2009. Bio's done on 04/Sep/2009. Still no news. I consider my application as a straight forward as it can get. Has anyone with staight forward application, got theirs back recently and how long did it take?
