The referee needs to have known you for at least three years so he would not qualify for that reason.

Thanks for your response.I haven't received the invitation letter so have just been googling what the different councils seem to say on their websites. I'm glad no ID is needed :)

Hi guys,

If that's all you have and nothing in your name, that's not enough evidence. Your application may not succeed in which case she'd have to apply for flr(m) and then apply for ILR when 2years worth of evidence is gathered.

Schools and GP surgeries are not well versed in immigration rules. They are also not required to be. You are expected to know the rules and follow them and being ignorant is no excuse.
