Called the council(hackney) and they told me i have to wait for the invitation letter as i can't book anything unless i have a invitation letter..

wp_to_tier1_168 which council did you booked your ceremony ? and how you managed to get a date (did you booked private ceremoney ?)

i did not ask when the letter was sent he simply told me that decision is already made on 17th and your decision letter will be on way...
will not bother to call again and will wait to see the out come i guess it will be after xmas and new year..

Hi Don't worry it will take some time in mine case it took more than 2 wks..
there is no exact timing in some cases they deduct money straight away and in some case upto 3 wks

if we compare the data it looks like POSTAL application are quicker than NCS.. one reason is self addressed next day delivery enclose envelop do you think any other reason postal application are treated quickly ? the reason we use NCS normally an expert checkup to speedup the application and minimiz...

I applied through NCS on 05/11/2010 but still payments is not taken from my credit card... and no acknowledgment letter either

I can see the application delivered on 08/11/2010 to HO..

my case is HSMP JR 4 +1 year ilr ..
in most cases they deduct payment within a wk max..
in my case its 2 wks now and also no ack letter either
