Hi I found the issue with my application. Initially I used the indian passport number to check the status and once the status changed as processed it started taking in the British Passport number. Hi Did apply for my OCI on 7th Jan and was acknowledged on the 21st Jan 2014. Was able to see the status in online as UNDER PROCESS but today all of a sudden the website says no such record. Thanks for the update. So I can expect some movement this week going by the 3 weeks lag.

Had to apply by post as the day I went to hci around 200 people in the queue.

I applied on 6th and application received by the high commission London on 7th January. Been checking the status but nothing appeared yet.

Hi

I'm planning to apply for the surrender certificate via post. How can we pay VFS? Checked for the bankers draft and it costs a fortune and same goes for the postal order as well.

How are people generally paying for the VFS service ?

Hi Vinny Thanks for pointing it out and have applied for SAR. I noticed that the home office is asking for passports as evidence of stay. I believe they are going to check the stamps on the passport. With the new passport they will not be able to do this. Should I be sending some other documentation...

Hi I'm currently filling my forms for tier 1extension. Have quick question around it. When I checked the points on pbs calculator I was awarded 20 points for age as I'm 28 now and had my initial application done during June 2008. But the forms says its 10 points for people who are 28 or 29 years old...
