Re: Tax return of full-time employed needed for ILR?

Def not required. As long as income was purely PAYE Not true. There are many situations where self assessment is required. E.g. His income is above £50k pa. or had previous underpaid tax through PAYE and in HMRC's option they cannot recover through his current job or he has rental income etc etc. S...

Re: Tax issue ILR

I've been in business for 24 years and never had to update or change my tax records. Why all these folks changing their tax records all of a sudden? Re: Self Employment as Sole Trader

1- Call HMRC and they will reinstate your UTR or issue you a new one.

2- Not a good idea to save NI. NI payments are good proof of self employment for HO.

3- Yes OK to use personal bank account.

I hope this helps.

For points to be claimed for Self Employed earnings, does the UKBA consider the dates of the invoices or the dates the money was received in the bank account? i.e. Invoice 1 Date: 15/01/2103 Money received in Bank: 26/01/2013 Invoice 2 Date: 23/02/2013 Money received in Bank: 01/04/2013 will the pe...
