Can I open a joint account with my friends and show that as my maintenance fund, as I cant wait for 3 months to show the amount in my account.

I want to apply Tier 1 next month and i have my saving in PPF. Can i show the PPF pass book as an evidence to availability of maintenance fund ?

I have faced the similar situation where I need to leave UK and move to Singapore for some time and my wife(who is on dependent visa) continued to work in Uk.
Abslultely, no issue with this. Your spouse can work to Tier 1 dependent visa irrespective of if your are there in UK or not.

Hi KP - I am holding Tier 1 Visa and planning to come over to UK in March. Actually I delayed my plan because job market doesn't sound any lucrative these days. Whats your opinion regarding the market bouncing back in March. Would it be a marginal improvement or it would be substantial one. Any help...
