Does the deed poll need to be signed in front of a solicitor or commissioner of oaths? or else, can we make use of one of the online deed poll companies? Which is safer and quicker? Thanks I did my name change. I informed my requ...

Why don't you just phone the passport office and ask them what you can do. The number is 0300 222 0000. They're not like UKBA. They actually answer questions and help you out. Thanks Astrid24, I just have contacted them during my lunch time. They are ok with a separate sheet of full names with sect...

Thanks ban.s, Issue is we have all our names are too long so section 8 is even not enough to fill in. If we do full names in a separate sheet, would that be accepted by Post office/Passport office?

Thanks

Name is too long

Hello,
I am filling my son's Passport application now... I found an issue that parent name field is not enough to fit my full name with given boxes. Can I attach an extra document with my full name by keeping parent name field blank on original application?

thanks

I would agree with plum70. But if you had done mistake by laminating marriage certificate and LIUK then u don't have to worry as they will except the laminating document. We applied for BC a month ago & approval reached yesterday. We applied via NCS & they accepted all laminated docs (Marrage, Birt...

Vinny is quite right that your friend's wife may well have the right of abode in the UK if the marriage was formed before 1983. This would be ideal, as this would entitle the wife to apply for and receive a certificate of entitlement in her passport, which would be even better than indefinite leave...
