Ans 1: Not required, so that means no BIOMETRIC. BIOMETRIC is for Tier 4 dependant at the moment.

For ILR personal interview, dates are only available after 1st week of Jan. You can call the appointment line and get the appointment. Call at around 08.58 hrs to get the appointment.

Ram,

I would advice you to send Postal Order as it is the easiest and surest way of paying for your Visa application. All applications with Postal order, go directly to next level as payment is already received.

Most of the slots are booked and only future slots (after 2nd week of Jan 2010) are coming up rarely.

I read somewhere that logging and calling on around 08:58 used to get some free slots.

Depends on the severity of the offence.

If you got points, then mention it on application and it is not a big deal. But if you got Court sentence or jail (I hope not) then it will definitely affect.

If it is not on NARIC database, then it is probably not recognised.

Wait for NARIC letter and if it is not recognised, then get letters from your institute and try to prove that your degree is part of BARC.

Frankly speaking, it is really not possible to escape the queue if the Visa officer on duty decides to check each and every one.

You can carry X-rays of chest which might be helpful as they will just check X-ray and let you go.

Don't mention that you don't have sufficient funds for your kid anywhere. Just mention that daughter is living with grand parents and so applying for yourself and wife. If she is in school, then mention about her current school session.

Is the photo you sent appears on any other document like Passport? If yes, then it all depends on Caseworker.

It really depends on the Caseworker, as your photograph is not 'very old', but still older than required parameters.
