I have recieved my RC this tuesday 19 of Jan 2010. I applied in Jan 09. Thanks for everyones help. I had to send the additional docs begining of dec 09.

I called home office now … they said the decision has been made today … they wouldn’t tell me about the decision over the phone ….they are saying that we will receive the documents back after holidays most likely …. So may be first week of January or something …. Lets c what happens ... ...

I think you have to be living in the Uk with your EEA spouse for five years before you can apply for indefinite leave i think... can anyone comment please.

They have been quite quick with the new applications so hopefully you will not have to wait as much as most of us had to.

I think UKBA are dealing with the backlog backwards. I recieved a letter from them for additional docs last saturday and my application is dated jan 09. Kuka and KKK01 have applied in dec and nov 08. Is there anyone esle waiting who has applied after jan 09 or is everyone waiting here is before jan ...

I hope so too. They tend to generally lie over the phone and not on their website and since i have already recieved a letter from them on saturday asking for Additional Docs, i have no option but to beleive them this time around.

Hi everyone,
I got a letter yesterday from homeoffice asking for additional docs. Lets c how long it takes from now.

I applied in jan 09. When i called them about a week ago, i was told that it still hasn't been allocated to the caseworker and they cannot give an exact date or time frame ... it could be that they have been told to give out the new answer from this week

I have been a regular reader of this forum for quite some time ... i just haven't posted anything in the past ... i had applied for EEA2 on 27th of Jan 09 and am still waiting like most people on this forum ... i have called them a few times and it's the same old answer, hasn't been looked into yet ...
