Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

Pretty much.

They effectively said, without the changes, they can't approve the passport.

I mean to be fair she probably would have changed it eventually anyway, but it just created unnecessary delay and hassle.

Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

Renewing UK Passport Abroad

Hi all, Can someone please answer a hypothetical question? Once granted UK citizenship and a passport, is it safe to assume that the applicant can move abroad to live and work without time restrictions? They won't "lose" their citizenship after x years being abroad? What about UK passport renewal? D...

Travelling with ILR after getting BC

Immedaitely after getting her certificate she will be applying for a passport. The problem is, I doubt very much that...

NCS Giving Out The WRONG Information?

Just booked an appointment for my spouse to do her AN application and the lady asked, and insisted she was right, about whether my spouse had had her ILR for more than a year. I said this wasn't necessary so long as she has been resident for more than 3 years which she has. Her ILR(BRP) was approved...

New English Language Requirement After 28 October 2013

Just to clarify, after this date ALL BC applicants will have to pass an English exam? Would studying with the OU not be sufficient proof of a knowledge of the English language? I need to do more research or do some serious budgeting and hopefully get my partners application in before then if not. I ...
