Re: British Passport application processing timelines (only)

hi,
I have been in a similar situation. I applied on 17/5/2014 and it went to Liverpool office. Got the sms on 21/5/2014. After that no correspondence.

I tried calling Liverpool office on 0845 number without any luck. Did you manage to speak to some one in Liverpool office?

Then I got a call from Norwich registrar office. He said he spoke to Home office and they admitted their mistake. So the Norwich...

It's a grey area.. The appeal might be successful but it will waste the time.

Re: Expired Ielts for KOLL

Yes this is really pathetic. I can't understand the logic that giving Ielts outside uk would not be accepted by ukba. This is really frustrating causing waste of time and money

Re: Expired Ielts for KOLL

Hi Amber Some ppl saying its validity is for 2 years. On the other side, there is also a suggestion that Ielts validity does not get checked at naturalisation. Can you please explain how you came to know about this? I got some contrasting replies on this thread so your help would b appreciated Thanks

Re: Expired Ielts for KOLL

Hi Viz and Jambo Some of the other threads say that Ielts expiry is not problem for naturalisation. I am asking this as my wife gave Ielts in 2010 outside Uk. I am bit confused whether will it be still acceptable or not as it expired in 2012 and was given outside Uk. The Ielts was never given to hom...

thanks for the reply. The only problem with NCS is that my child current leave (Tier 1 General dependant) will expire before the NCS appointment

My child was born in UK. Will that be a problem if i apply via NCS after her current leave is expired?
Will he will be considered as overstayer?

thanks
