look at my thread http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=51456. Your wife may not be eligible as the new rules requires two years spent as dependent.

Phoned HO and confirmed.

Negative. The word HO used on the phone was - She has to be a dependent of main applicant for at least tow years. She did say no I can't include her because of the new immigration rule has been in place. But if I am WP or HSMP holder this rule is not applied. I hope this can help other ppl in this f...

ya any PEO can do your case. I would think 5 weeks is not a problem.
BTW your wife has spent 2 years living with you under dependent visa or of mixed types, for instance, student + dependent, etc

Ya will do. I should have done the switch for my girlfriend a long time back, I am just being too lazy. With all those messy concerns I am really frustrated at the moment, it isn't worh for my girlfriend to spend another 2 years under FLR(M) to get ILR, I do really wish I could go with the route tha...

Nope. I am covered by Tier 1 General. I am aware that 2 years requirement is required for point based migrant. My major concern is still that whether my girlfriend has to spend 2 years residency strictly under dependent visa or not. Actually she has spent more than 4 years under student + tier 1 PSW...

thanks As I have already been in UK, she applies seperately from her origin, do I still need that 800 for myself? Let me make it clearer, 1) Bank statement of main application (myself) - I still need 800 + 533 = 1333 for past three months? 2) Bank statement of my partner - she needs 533 or more ...

Tier1 PSW switches to Tier1 General's dependent ?

Hi

My partner is now holding a Tier 1 PSW(Post Study Worker), I myself is having a TIer 1 General.

Questions, can she switch into a dependent of my Tier 1 General in-country? Or it has to be out-country application? We have been living together for 4 years since end of 2005

Regards,

Kun

Hi sushdmehta You were right. Tier 1 PSW switches into a dependent of Tier 1 General, the application needs to go back to home country for entry clearance. Correct me if I am wrong from what I understand, once she is granted a dependent of my Tier 1 General we can apply ILR immediately after that? D...

ILR with dependent please help !!!!!!

A very simple question, if I include a dependent of my Tier 1 General - unmarried partner in my ILR application, does she have to spend at least 2 years with me inside UK. Is this TWO years a requirement for a dependent? I need help. I am eligible for ILR now under Tier1 General from now on, my girl...

Hi sushdmehta Thanks very much again. I am thinking the first option as you mentioned above. I have spent 5 years comtinuely under a combination of WP + HSNP + Tier 1 General and I am eligible to apply ILR anytime from now on, and my current visa category is Tier 1 General. Certainly my unmarried gf...

Thanks man. You have pointed out my mistake. I phoned HO today they advised me to proceed a sole ILR application first when it is granted then my gf will need to apply as unmarried partner using FLR(M) form as we both have been living in UK for more than 4 years as of today. Thanks again, regards, Kun

Actually my conviction will get "spent" or "ignored" by end of this month but I am not going to wait by then. I have an appointment @glasgow PEO on tue...

Unmarried dependent along with my ILR application

Hi all I am going to put my unmarried partner/gf along in my ILR application next month. She is now having a 2 years PSW (Post Study Worker) visa, and has been living inside UK for 6 years, because I can't find any information of visa category requirement as a dependent of my ILR application, can an...

Thanks

You could try though. I specified what I was looking for in the cover letter with all paper's ref number, etc.

Landing cards? Do you think they keep it? I think they may not be held by HO?
What risk level were you referring to?

SAR - not very useful

Hi all I am applying ILR in combination of WP + WP-Extention + HSMP + Tier 1 General, because I am missing WP-ext original letter I requested a SAR, but I am not getting what I asked for. All I got were copies of my application forms(hsmp, wp, tier 1) and HO's computer record print-out. I am a bit w...

why were you guys all luckier than me, I phoned everyday they always said no appointments at all, could that be my tier 1 expires in APril 2012 and I have plenty time to apply ILR since now?
