Re: English Requirement for Naturalisation of Spouse on ILR

Thanks. I have looked at this. The exemption list of settlement talks about - a highly skilled migrant applying under the terms of the highly skilled migrant program (HSMP) judicial review and your dependants So, I am presuming that she wont' require to prove English Language requirement. Is this a ...

English Requirement for Naturalisation of Spouse on ILR

Hi, I had claimed ILR under HSMP Judicial review in 2011. As part of this, my wife was also eligible for ILR along with the same application, and she has been on ILR since then. English language requirements or Life in the UK test were not required for acquisition of ILR at that time. She did comple...

Jus to add more info to the previous post.

Two applications were submitted on 16 th Dec ( one from Hounslow and one from Redbridge). One of them got debited on 24th Dec and the other on 31st Dec.

It's not clear on how it works, even before the 'real' processing starts.

Re: Recieved summons during application

I sent my BC application out yesterday, but recieved a summons to appear in court for non payment of council tax today. If I pay this debt off immediately, will the summons still appear on any checks the home office do and do I need to tell them even if I pay the debt before the court date? Dont kn...

ILR under HSMP JR

Hi, I had a successful ILR application at Croydon PEO on Friday( 29th Jan 10). I am covered under HSMP JR. Also, I have a dependant who is in the country for only 5 months. Under HSMP-JR, the dependant would also get ILR, and she/he doesn't have to spend two years in the country. Although I had some...

Re: Update on Children dependant visa

Under HSMP-JR, dependants don't need to spend 2 years in the country.

HSMP-JR clearly states that the status of dependant will be the same as that of the main applicant. I cross checked this with Immigration Inquiry team.

Hi, I have a question on the date of qualification for settlement under HSMP JR. I had applied to HSMP and received an acknowledgement letter of the application on 30th March 2006( just 4 days earlier than HSMP cutoff date- 3rd April 2006) , and I had received the HSMP approval letter on 26 April 20...
