Our journey to naturalization so far

Hi, We've been lurking on this thread for a while, and it has been very helpful to reassure ourselves that we are in the same (slow-moving) boat as everyone else. We were delighted to receive early this morning, the letter of invitation from our council (Oxfordshire). Interestingly we haven't yet re...

Dear Volkan, In response to your questions: 1. Give the HM Revenue Office a ring and they might be able to send you copies of the ones you are missing. Take all the ones you have with you. The most recent one is probably the most useful to have. 2. Take all you have and the same rule as above applie...

I do think think coolwp is right. I've read this before in a few older posts on the forum, and besides it makes logical sense. You're better off covering all bases.

Thank you coolwp. Try not to worry too much! I would imagine an employer's letter is necessary because it summarises and endorses your current employment situation. That said, they didn't request to see my husband's letter. All they took was the three most recent payslips and the most recent P60. Th...

Success - In-Person ILR - Solihull/Birmingham PEO - HSMP JR

Dear Forum Folk, This is a quick note to say 'Thank You' for all the trouble you take to post your experiences up here - it is an incredible pool of information and has been very helpful! My husband (main applicant) and I (dependent) had an in-person appointment booked at the Solihull PEO for 12pm y...

Dependent presence for ILR

No, as far as I understand, you don't need your wife to be present, as this is not a biometric visa, but just need to ensure you have family appointment booked.

Appointment Booked - Thank You All

Thanks everyone for your advice - this forum is invaluable! I just managed to book an appointment (main applicant + one dependant) on the telephone booking line, for the 10th of Feb at Solihull. You might want to try now - closest to the weekends is probably the best time to chance upon an appointme...

Appointment Booking - No Joy

Hello all, I'm new to the forum and really grateful for all the brilliant advice and support here. It is a huge ask, but I wonder if you could please help me by sending me a quick private message when you see available appointments, if you are looking? I require to book a SET(O) ILR appointment for ...
