Re: if child is born in india for an irish couple can get ir

It absolutely does make a huge difference. If the parents were naturalised and werent born in Ireland then the child that will be born in India is not automatically Irish, hence they cannot just wals into the Irish Embassy and apply for passport. Firstly the child will have to be put on the Foreign...

If you have joint bank account and relationship since 2010 + a child together how come you are still on student visa. I suggest to change it and apply as a family member of EU citizen. You will be allowed to work full-time and pay EU fees for studies. As far as travelling to Ireland is concerned you...

Just pop in to the immigration counter with your Irish spouse along with your relevant documents. I don't think there will be any issues renewing early. You get your stamp and GNIB card the same day although to get re-entry visa you have to either post or go into GNIB re-entry office to get it.

Fines for penalty points/not wearing belts etc do arrive at home addresses if you are either stopped by Gardai or caught by gatso van which you pay within 28 days time (if you accept the charge). If paid within 28 days its fine if you don't pay or contest the charge then it goes to the court.

Is there a point to this post? It's a bit strong for a first post. Many people come on here with some questions and get some help. I struggle to see the point here. Welcome to the Irish forum. Your wife can apply for EEA Fam permit as she is spouse of Irish (EU) citizen. Applications are made online and it is free of cost. Drawback of an EEA Fam permit is that EEA national has to be travelling with their non-EEA spouse or the non-EEA spouse is going to join them to the destination country...

The DoJ's requirement on this is very vague. But if you take their word for it it said married to an "Irish citizen" for no less than 3 years and at no point it goes in details regarding naturalised citizens etc. My take on this is once your spouse is Irish and you are married you are classed as Iri...

Conviction would've been if you were served that speeding notice and didn't pay or contested that charge in the court and found guilty/not guilty. At present its a speeding ticket which you duly paid and have points on your license for around three years so imho you are fine, but there has been stor...

This is long time coming and good one. I am a bit surprised that it was Justice Cook who gave that ruling (as he is considered to be a wee bit pro DoJ). Hope it don't get taken to the Supreme Court by DoJ (although don't see a reason why) as it might according to their interpretation open floodgates.

1) If we get married before she gets her Irish Passport (as I said we don’t have any updates on her passport application status), what Visa/Stamp type will I get? Is it Stamp 4 same as hers? Or just a Spousal Visa without Work Visa. You will get stamp 1. http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Renewal...

Re: How many P60 / P21 forms are required for naturalization

First this is a really good forum. I am going to apply Irish Citizenship shortly by naturalization, based on 5-year residence. I have a question about P60 P21: On the Form 8, it says: "Copy of your current P21 or P60 statement from the revenue commissioners if you are in employment." My understandi...

Hadn't realised that Brophy Solicitors had made a comment on it. http://brophysolicitorsimmigration.blogspot.com/2011/12/high-court-jugdement-in-naturalization.html They were obviously the solicitors on record.
