Hi,
I have a question. If I apply for 10 year long term visitor visa and they grant only 6 months visa, what will happen to the fees? Do they refund the amount?

You can just get an official looking deed poll from 100s of services online (I had used http://www.thelegaldeedpollservice.org.uk) and get it signed by any oath commissioner (they shouldn't charge more than £7 for this).
