Re: Naturalisation - English languague

I think you are safe as your ILR was after October 2013 you should be okay to tick the checkbox "I met Koll requirements after 23rd October 2013 ......"..

Re: Fixed Penalty : AN Form

Mention it.

If you don't and CO finds it out (which he will) it will be a case of deception/ withholding information on purpose. If this happens you are in bigger trouble.

Re: Child with ILR need British Registration ?

As correctly suggested by secret.simon you can directly register as Britich Citizen under Section 1(3) on Form MN1.

I bit tend to disagree with Richard W here. Children born in UK and parents holding ILR does not have any residency requirement. 90 days restriction is not applicable in this case.

I can see most of people who applied around the same time received their approval by end of June... If the wait is more than 6 months, which number can i use to contact them ? HO will not entertain if you contact BEFORE 6 months. People who applied around the same time have taken about 70 to 80 day...

There are many VFS offices in London. Visit below for all locations

Yes you need to book online appointment for all VFS stuff on VFS website NOT on the HCI site.

Re: End of Employment while application is considered

There are cases where parents have changes/renewed passport while child's application in being considered but not informed the HO.

This should be alright as long as the info was correct at the time of application.

However I would wait for some expert/experienced to comment on this.!

People faced similar issue and have posted here on forum. As from the posts it will be a quick one at the immigration counter in UK if you have your naturalization certificate with you. Event if you don't have you will have to wait until the officer verifies your citizenship. So should not be a prob...

You are a person we all can learn something from. You make me believe in the law of attraction. Your case could be a great example of "The Power of Thinking Positive".

Good luck. Keep faith and the good will happen. It proves it in your case.

That's all. Nothing more to say.

Thanks nk148 for the advice. Strange these things could happen. I once had faced such error but it was the post-man's mistake. Address was correct but postman by mistake put the letters into neighbor's letterbox. I was lucky the neighbor was kind enough to pass it on to me. In your case if the neigh...

Because that's what they hold on their database. For employment older than that they have to refer archive database which ta...

Hi Geriatrix, Vk2014, The FAQ's are very good but the below on gov.uk site still confuses a lot https://www.gov.uk/english-language/exemptions (this page is updated on 6 April 2016) If you’re applying for citizenship There are no other exemptions if you’re applying to become a British citizen. You m...
