ILR Set(m) by post, husband requires to travel

We submitted documents 17 days ago, he needs to go to Egypt next month. How can we request his passport back? Would that interfere on the application process?

IDR - appointment the day visa expires

I am applying for my ILR - SET(M), only managed to get appointment for the day my visa expires, is there any problem with that? Or shall I send the week before via post?

Thank you so much. Lucky just managed to book an appointment for Saturday 20th - Croydon, this is the exact day my 2 years visa spouse expires, is that too late?
