congratulations, enjoy the freedom. under what category did you apply? I have just applied under the 14 year rule. still waiting. only 3 weeks since I applied. Thankyou....I applyed under spousal visa.... ILR SET M....as i am married to a UK Citizen, therefore i only had to wait the 2 year ...

it expires on the 28th aug 2011, but i arrived into the UK on teh 9th July 2009...therefore, my date of sending in a postal application was the 11th June 2011.....basically, what i worried about is from the time i went for my PEO appointment on the 13th June 2011 and was not processed, i will be 1 ...

hi there......heres my story.. I received my Spousal Visa was issued to me on the 28 May 2009 I arrived in the UK on the 9 July 2009 My visa expires on the 28 Aug 2011 as you can see...there was a short time of 1 month and a half before arriving in the UK......I was wanting to know at the earliest ...

The charity work won't benefit your ILR application (but won't adversely affect it either)...but it should put you in a good position for British Citizenship under the regulations due to be introduced in July 2011. Buy the study books that accompany the official Home Office publication. You can ...

If you have sufficient income to enable you to take up voluntary/charity work then this (according to the new Citizens Bill) will be an advantage when applying for British Citizenship later on.
