Finally my RC arrived today, a stamp on my passport valid for 5 years and issued on 24/08/2010 just before the 6 month period ended. Does everybody's resident card says: employment and bussiness activity allowed?

I have received a letter from HO asking me to return the passport to enable process of my application. They sent me a yellow paper to use it as a return address and it has got a ref number on it and a date which 8/09/10 anyone knows what that date means?

I reckon its very variable, depends on case being straightforward or not. So far we know that at least two ppl on this forum got their RC from applications done in Dec 2009 and at least one from Jan 2010. But its not a rule.
