When I asked the lady at the NCS, she told me that when they receive the application they have 5 days to ask you for any supporting or extra documents. But obviously that is not the case, because it takes weeks for them to ask for more documents.
I guess each case is different, we received 2 acknowledgement letters! We applied through NCS on 4/4/11 and received letters dated 19th and 26th April!
Finally got our passports back today. Actually the packet arrived last week but they left a while you were out card. Due to the bank holidays I could only get them today. They have all sent the Life in the UK test certificates. The passports were stamped on 18/03/10. Booboo any updates? Hopefully ...
