Re: May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

The order in which HO is processing May applications is strange.

I applied on 08-05-2015 through NCS Halifax, submitted biometrics on 15-06-15 but haven't heard anything back from HO.

Yet I can see approvals for late May applications.

Really strange.

Didn't send PBS Printout

Hi all, I applied for naturalisation through NCS (halifax) yesterday but have just realised that I didn't include the PBS calculator printout for English language requirement. The annoying thing is that I had the printout with me. The ncs official did ask for my life in uk certificate and masters de...

BRP Delivery

Hi All,

I'm expecting delivery of my BRP but I will be at work during the day. Does anyone know whether DX leaves a note if they try to deliver ILR BRP card and no one is at home?

Thanks

Re: Successful PEO/PSC ILR applications

Hi All, As mentioned in my previous post I had my ILR (based on Tier 2) approved yesterday. Now I have a few questions about naturalisation. 1.) I'm married to a British citizen. Is it true that I can apply for naturalisation immediately instead of waiting for 1 year? 2.) If the answer to question 1...

Hi All, I had my ILR approved yesterday and have a few questions about naturalisation. 1.) I'm married to a British citizen. Is it true that I can apply for naturalisation immediately instead of waiting for 1 year? 2.) If the answer to question 1 is yes, will I have to submit my ILR biometric card w...

Re: Successful PEO/PSC ILR applications

Just wanted to share my experience at Sheffield PEO today. :D Application: ILR Category: Tier 2 (General) Date of first entry (on which application was based): 12-05-2010 Today is 25 days before five years so I used the 28 days rule. Documents submitted ==================== Application form (SET O) ...

ILR acceptable bank statement and a few form related querie

Hi all, I'm applying for ILR in two weeks time which will be 24 days before completion of the qualifying period and I'll just like to check my understanding of bank statements and a few other documents required for submission. Question 1: I have a bank statement printed for me at my local Lloyds bra...

Hi, I applied for my Tier 2 extension last week at the Croydon PEO and it was granted. Your scenario is very similar to mine i.e. My initial Tier 2 visa was due to expire on 01/04/2013 In between 2010 and 2013, I got a new passport (because the old one expired) Hence the answer to your questions are...

Tier 2 general extension

Hi guys, I have a PEO appointment coming up for extension of my tier 2 visa. Guidance says one must be applying to continue in same job for same sponsor and salary must be greater than or equal to the last time I applied. All this well and good: my new cos states same job title and description as th...

When to apply for Tier 2 general extension

Hi All, Just wondering when people generally apply for extension of their Tier 2 General visa. I have roughly 5 months left on my current permit so I'll need to extend it soon. However the UKBA website doesn't say how many months you should have left on your current Tier 2 before submitting an exten...

So how come this information is not available on the UKBA website? Just wondering. The link you posted above is an external link. My sponsor is also yet to receive their annual allocation.

It's a tricky one cos the guidance just says you must have worked for your employer for six months and '..be applying to continue in the same job you are doing on the date of the application'. My interpretation of that is as follows: e.g. if you change your job title a few days before your applicati...

Hello arsenal, The answer to your question is: yes, you will be awarded. The example you have given matches my case exactly that is, before I applied for Tier 2, my salary was not up to the recommended salary specified in the code of practice for my job title. However, when I wanted to apply to swit...

You were right Arjun when you said that decision for Tier 2 general normally comes about three weeks after submitting biometrics. I received my ICFN yesterday, May 14, 2010. It came before my passport and documents, but the accompanying letter said 'I will receive the documents soon' My guess is tha...
