Thanks. So, no box to tick in Sec 3.2?...

If there was (and possibly will be) a part-time employment, shall one also leave Sec.3.3-3.5 blank? Or give there the relevant details with further clarification on page 13?...

Which occupation for student?

Could someone please advise on Sec 3. of the AN form for a person who is currently a full-time university student. Sec. 3.1 (What is your occupation?) is clear -- just write "student (full-time)", and attach the enrolment letter. But then: - What should one indicate in Sec. 3.2 (Are you...), as none...

I am worried that my changing the company (and going out of UK) would be considered break. Would it be considered ?? No, it wont. To be eligible for ILR, the UKBA must be satisfied that you have spent in the UK a continuous period of 5 years in approved employment. During that period you may change...

Re: Change in WP - ILR possible ??

Since this absence was less than 90 days, your continuous residence in the UK is not broken, and you should fine (provided that all the other conditions are met).

1) Guidance for the from SET(O) available from UKBA is written well, and already contains the checklist. When my father is booking online, what option should we choose? You should get two appointments! Actually, I would suggest getting appointments over phone -- it is easy to ...

1) I have not been to the UK for 5 years (only 4 years), but my father did, will I still be able to apply for ILR? Yes, no problems at all, as WP dependants do not have such a residential requirement. 2)We are not allowed to apply for ILR 28 days earlier than finishing the qualification period. doe...

Unfortunately, the Solicitor that I consulted was wishy-washy on this. His argument was that the most compliant way is to apply from October 8, 2012, but he also stated that it is possible to apply from September 19, 2012 (i.e., 28 days before visa expiry). Your solicitor was right -- you need to a...

You both should be fine -- as discussed in sticky , FPN do not form part of a person's criminal record and ... must therefore be disregarded . The only possible issue is that of multiple penalty notices, particularly over a short period of time . Even then those 2 FPNs are also not an issue here, as...

I'm over the 180 days, but this would be reduced if I don't count the initial days. So can you tell me if I should put in 1st June, 15th Ju...

krishnais, if you'll be applying in person at PEO -- and I'd recommend that -- then the cover letter is not required. According to my experience, a CW will just ask you to provide with necessary docs one by one, so you'll have your chance to explain any "tricky" points... If you are opting for a pos...

I have a very generic query in relation to appling for jobs after ILR.
