Re: Doctors as acceptable referees

My wife's naturalisation application was approved last month and she had GP as one of the referee. They are not on the list as it was removed based on their request. The reasoning was that they would rather spend time taking care of patients than filling these forms!

Re: Citizenship Invitation Letter not received for wife

Thanks for the response. I gave a call to the number mentioned and they said they cannot give an update until 6 months has elapsed. I mentioned that two of us have already received our citizenship invitation letters but only she has not received for which they said that "sometimes" even though we ha...

Re: When could referee begin to sign the AN form

The AN form says "This part of the form is to be filled in by your referees once your photograph has been affixed aside as explained above." So, yes, logically you are right!

Citizenship Invitation Letter not received for wife

Hi all, I applied for Naturalisation through JCAP NCS route for me, my wife and daughter. I received Citizenship Invitation letter last Saturday for me and my daughter but not for my wife. So I am not sure what has happened there. Since we have applied together, is the decision NOT done together? Or...

Re: JCAP NCS

Two referees fill their details only in AN Form and not on Passport form. Referee do not need to sign on the back of the photos.

If they have any other children who reside in India, provide their details and proof as well. Also, mention about any other close relatives who reside in India.

For the benefit of all the people using this site, would you be able to provide the list of documents that you submitted along with your application? I t...

Re: English Language - Important point in AN Booklet

The FAQ's mention the following: Q2: Which are the Exempt categories?: You don’t need to prove your knowledge of English if you: 1. met this requirement, on or after 28th October 2013, in order to obtain settlement (ILR or PR) I think the above statement is only partially correct in that it is true ...

English Language - Important point in AN Booklet

Hi all, I have read through numerous posts regarding English language requirement on this board and one of the thing that is always highlighted is that if someone has applied for settlement after 28th Oct 2013 then they need not prove it again. But I just came across the following statement in the A...

Re: ILR (Main + Dependent) Application

Hi sparsh,

If your wife's qualification is recognised in the Points based calculator then the print out of that page is sufficient along with the original degree certificate of your wife.

BRP for child not delivered

Hello, My ILR application was approved last Friday at Croydon. I had applied along with my wife and kid. I got the BRP for myself and my wife today. But my kid's BRP has not been delivered. Is there any chances of BRP being sent separately even though the application was made and approved together? ...

ILR Success - Croydon 26th June - Ltd. Co. Director

Thanks to the experiences shared by members of this forum I have been successful with my ILR application today at Croydon. I applied for myself and 2 dependants. My appointment was at 2:45 PM but i reached there around 2 PM and got the result just before 5 PM. The documents submitted by me were as f...

Re: PEO appointment@CROYDON on 29th June

ahhh ok ... :) I am diverting off the topic here for a couple of questions of mine. In the Photographs and Documents checklist, for "Bank Statements - How Many?" - Did you write the total number of bank statements that you are submitting? For example, for 12 months if there are 24 pages of bank stat...

Re: PEO appointment@CROYDON on 29th June

I read in the Tier 1 Policy guidance (could not find anything corresponding to ILR) that it is the calendar month i.e if you are applying on 29th June 2015 then the 15 month period would be 29th Mar 2014 - 28th Jun 2015.

Re: PEO appointment@CROYDON on 29th June

Hi Rukmesh,

If your earnings is starting from March 2014, is the 15 month period not ending on May 2015? Sorry if I am wrong but thought worth checking.

ILR - Set O Form - Question on 5.6

Hello all, Section 5.6 of the Set O Form specifies to indicate ".. the sources and levels of income as indicated in 5.1 - 5.5 that you and your partner are relying on ..." - Should I provide my partner's salary as well here? But the question 5.3 asks only about "your" pay. So if I include my partner...

Re: ILR- Absence from UK whilst unemployed

Hi Rajendra Singh, As per my understanding, continuous residence for ILR is broken only when the period of absence is more than 180 days. Regarding evidences, I have seen certain cases in the forum where the applicant has just provided a spreadsheet listing out his absences, reason etc and the case ...
