I dont think so. the amount of time to process and refusal and approval is the same. jatinderw applied after me but got desision before. so its not that clear cut. don't worry about your finances they should be ok.

as advised earlier my wife picked up the paperwork. She has booked her medical for wednesday. she could have done it tomorrow but the medical is in delhi so she has to travel up there (6-7 hour one way journey ).

also status online has changed to "medical envelope collected on"

it will probably be better to submit docs after your religous wedding to be on the safe side.

I assume you mean balance for savings. I would say around 3-4000 pounds if you are working full time. but there is no definate answer as all your financial circumstances will be considered.
