Nothing at the moment, but if they change the rules as intended, it would mean that pbs deps not on a route to settlement, would not be able to make use of transitional protection under Part 8 and thus would not be able to amalgamate pbs dep and FLR(M) time. Do you know these rules are still valid?...

Yes, I applied on one application, the HMRC considered it as a joint claim and they allow WTC on my name and CTC on my wife name.

I am in the same boat as you. I applied back on the 9th April and it was 6 months 2 weeks back with no news at all. I now call once a week for an update but all they say is that it is being processed. Its a bit of a joke really. thanks for your reply and now little relief that i am not the only one...

No its ok my friend applied for ilr in April and I applied in May and we both got Bio Metric in same week . I mean just last week. So u will get it by few weeks time ,may be 1 or 2. My wife came to UK on my pseudo dependent visa , later we switch to tier 4 dependent visa. Now I applied for ilr on 10 years long term basis but my wife is staying with me o from last 1 year. Will she be subjected to new immigration rules implemented from 9 July ?

Feb Applicants do not need biometrics

Can Someone tell make it clear to me about the Biometric for ILR applicants.
Those who are applying for ILR on 10 years long term residency basis will also need Biometric or they are exempted from it ???????? :idea:
