No, You Can not.
In order for you to be eligible for Irish Nationality as spouse of Irish National, you have to stay in Island of Ireland (Republic and NI) for 3 years out of last 9 years with continued residence in Ireland for 1 year immediately before application.

I am a naturalized Irish National, currently living in UK for last few months due to job loss in Ireland. We are expecting a baby in next few months. I wonder what will be the process of getting our child Irish Nationality??... your much valued advice is much appreciated.

Hi guys....tried many courts around to make an appointment for oath...all of them say that they can only accept the local people...i am based in tipperary and earliest available date is in Sept. 2011...any suggestions?? Any body knows any court that accepts people who are not having local addresses...

Thanx nannete, i have sent them the letter updating my status..i am working here since late 2001 with no breaks or CW payments so there is no problem there... one of my friends got approval yesterday after 56 months.....and i really mean 56 months...aren't we living in wonderful times.....
