Dear respected members, A friend of mine has made an application for ILR but her partner has not met the financial requirement. Applicant's partner worked part-time due to covid and on the day of application had 1 month full-time. The calculated income for 6 months was well below £9,300. Now the UKV...

Cut off date for applying for visitors visa

Hello,

From the UK visa website we read:
"The earliest you can apply is 3 months before you travel."

Is this from the date of submission of the online application or from the date of submission at the visa centre?

As always I appreciate any suggestions.

Regards,

Meha

Re: Section 1(3) for EEA unmarried parents.

Thank you very much for your replies. So from your comments it does not matter if EEA parents are married or not? The confusion comes from guidance notes page 31 regarding documents that should be submitted: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/583385/MN1_Guide_J...

Re: SET (M) Section 8 question

The applicant is not a Turkish national.

If this issue is sorted then what should be entered in my original question?
What funds is the applicant relying on?

Thank you for all your help.
