This was the kind of explanation I have been hoping to get from people who have been promoting other solicitors here, however it is clear that they haven't understood the key points in their cases or simply not able to express themselves. It is the EVIDENCE and the facts of the case that wins an app...

You can vary the ground of your application since your brothers circumstances have changed, however he needs to provide fresh docs for his new course, new cas number, maintenance funds etc

Basically it will be like making a fresh application but he would save on the application fee.

Just a slight correction to the advice above...........the place of study needs to be a HEI (ie a university along with highly trusted status) for you to be able to work 20 hrs/week and also the duration needs to be more than 12 months.

In theory this would work if your uni is able to give u a helping hand. But there is always a downside as someone already pointed out in case your application is refused/invalid for whatever reason you may not get a second chance to apply therefore weigh down your risk before going for this route. I...

It maybe a long shot but try speaking to your bank to see if they are able to clear the pymt on your old debit card details. Its worth a try but chances are that your bank is likely to decline the pymt.

Sadly in your case the answer is NO. The date of award needs to be before your application. With the scheme being closed you cannot pursue a new application. You can go for an appeal but there is every chance that you wont succeed. If you are in UK you need to look at other immigration category if y...

Very unfortunate......what you need to do is make a fresh application with new up to date bank statement, you could use the same CAS alotted to you by your sponsor. Write a covering letter explaining the whole situation to the case worker why the payment was declined. You have got 28 days to make a ...

You seem to be going round in circle with your queries and answers. Simple answer to your question is the onus of curtailing your leave is with your sponsor, therefore if your sponsor has not informed UKBA and consider your absence as legitimate then your visa is not curtailed and you should be fine...

Yes 28th of March is the date of your withdrawal once you have rec'd the confirmation NOT when you sent the letter therefore UKBA is right to refuse your application if it was made any time before 28th of March as invalid Your solicitor was an absolute nutcase to have made the application the same d...

Dear Jamie, After your course end date ie 02/13 you are not required to be studying with your sponsor. Your sponsor should inform UKBA that you are no longer a student because either you have finished the course or you no longer studying with them.(There is no distinction between the two as far as U...

Take some anti-depressant and WAIT...... For God's sake its only the 4th working day today do you think UKBA haven't got anything else to do. They don't care how desperate you might be or your dear life is hanging by the thread. Its normally 10 working days, therefore take a chill pill and be patient.

You are not very clear about the exact reason for refusal, assuming that your financial document was ok, it appears to be lack of english language requirement. English Language is a compulsory requirement for tier 4 you should have followed the policy guidance before applying and if the toefl result...

You should inform your current sponsor about your intention and they should withdraw your sponsorship and UKBA would write to you curtailing your leave to 60 days then you would need to make a fresh application within this period with all the relevant documents from your new sponsor. Note: You don't...

You could always send that letter with your application reference no. Certain VFS are very stupid and don't accept any documents unless asked by the caseworker, however if you go down to VFS office and explain them the situation with a covering letter they should forward that to your caseworker. You should have asked them to post your statement to your branch rather than your home address, its a lot quicker (think mine took 2 days). Ask your wife to write to the caseworker in case she is not able to submit the original by the deadline and really its up to the discretion of the case worker w...

I had this issue when my wife applied for her dependent visa long time ago, where HSBC printed out the statement and then stamped it. Dear deandias,
Its an old trick which UKBA is aware of. Neither you or your dependent would be allowed to switch in-country both of you need to go back and apply from your home country.
