Re: Approval for MN1?

Some other members have reported that in similar cases (Section 3(1) registration submitted alongside a parent's naturalisation), typically both certificates are given at the time of the parent's citizenship ceremony. That way, the child is only issued a registration certificate if the parent does ...

Re: Approval for MN1?

No. The applications are completely separate, but you're not likely to receive your child's letter of confirmation until after your ceremony. Thanks, I did not realise this until today. I always think if I didn't know about this forum, I would struggle to find appropriate answers to my queries. Eve...

Thanks Casa and I understand that. Does that also mean that I need to wait to get an approval letter for my child until I complete the ceremony process?

Re: Approval for MN1?

Assuming your child was born abroad, the child only qualifies for BC once you are BC. Yes, he was born abroad. So it makes sense that his application will be processed after making a decision on my one. I really appreciate the knowledge and low level details you share on the forum. Thanks once again.

Thanks a lot. I find it surprising to see mine coming before my child. Anyways, I will wait for couple of days for his letter to arrive.

Approval for MN1?

Hi Experts, I applied for citizenship with my 9 years son in November and got an approval yesterday only for myself. The letter talks about next steps of attending ceremony with no mention of my son's application. I understand he need not to attend any ceremony but will I not get a notification of h...

Hello everyone, I am currently on tier 2 and due to apply for my ILR. HMRC - Change of Address

Hi All, I am due for ILR by this year end and have recently changed jobs. I just realized that when I applied for NI number in 2010, I used my temporary address and moved to new address in 2010 itself. I did not inform HMRC about the address change assuming my employer must have taken care of this. ...

Hi Manci,

Sorry, I think I did not frame my question correctly. My question is when RLMT is successfully done, where do we need to put the details while assigning the Unrestricted CoS in SMS.
Guide does not give a screenshot of this particular field in Unrestricted Cos SMS guide.

RLMT details for Unrestricted CoS

Hi All, I need to provide inputs to the employer for issuing an Unrestricted CoS for a Tier 2 G job switch. When I look at the guidance present on UKBA site, it gives no option to put in RLMT details. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/employersandsponsors/user-manual/cos-worker...

Hi, Can you please comment on visa validity of dependent in below scenario? 1) Main applicant (T2 ICT) + Dependent visa valid until Dec 2014. 2) Main applicant applies for Same day service to switch to Tier 2 General. My question is, once main applicant moved to T2 General, what happens to the valid...

Hi manci, Thanks for your response and I agree with what you mentioned. That is the reason I asked this question and want to know that if employer still assigns the CoS, can it be a reason of rejection for the applicant or is it something which is covered in UKBA's compliance audit and has nothing t...

Need suggestion

My friend got a job offer with an unrestricted CoS for Tier2(G) switch. In job advert company did not specify the closing date when they advertised the job on JobCenter in two phases. Is there a chance of rejection of my friend's visa due to this or is it between Company and UKBA audits to sort this...

If you have the approval letter and just BRP is awaited why do you think there would be a problem? You can go and come back as many times u want if your visa is valid. If the problem is all around serving for two weeks in your home country go ahead and do that to close the matter. I am sure your fut...
