Re: MN1 biometric enrolemnt Family out of UK

As far as I have seen you can book the appointment once you receive the letter as mostly the slot should be available because it is only for biometrics. Thats was the case for my wife appointment in Hyderabad. 1) There is no fees but take two copies of biometric letter as VFS keep one copy for ...

Re: MN1 biometric enrolemnt Family out of UK

No need to mention location as you can select the location while booking the appointment. Yes they gave a link to VFS where you can register and book an appointment with the reference.
vfsglobal.co.uk/Overseas/Pages/Login.aspx. You can register and keep things ready.

Thanks

Re: Travelling after submitting Form AN/MN1

Travel after submitting biometrics. ILR and BRP valid until parent and child have been actually naturalised, registered respectively. @noajthan - There is no issue in travelling after submitting naturalisation at NCS and before giving biometric. Just need to inform HO that you are willing to give ...

send it to both FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk, NationalityBiometrics@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk. In my case a request to give Biometric overseas took 3 weeks to receive a response.

Re: MN1 biometric enrolemnt Family out of UK

Hi Sumitt, Sorry I just saw the thread. My wife applied for citizenship on 27/06/2016 and travelled same day to India so there is no issues in terms of travel while application is in progress. I emailed FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk, NationalityBiometrics@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk ...

Re: Returning BRP

I am still confused with the query and the point that British passport is not proof of being citizen. Also just checked the applying for Adult passport and actually if the child is already having British passport then it is just renewal rather than new application as per below link. It do not ask ...

Re: Biometric letter validity

This is the response I got from NationalityBiometrics team. You will have to enrol your biometrics details as part of the application process. If you will be out of the country for more than 30 days you may be able to enrol your biometrics in the country you are visiting. You would need to tell us ...

Re: English Language Requirements (Confused)

As Said earlier I am not an expert in this area so wait for Guru's to shed some light on the new Guide but from my understanding it was clear before and now that if you met english language requirement as part of ILR then you are exempted. If you have a doubt then take a B1 test and as per others ...

Re: English Language Requirements (Confused)

Hi, I am not an expert in this area and also about to submit my application next week. After reading the new guide I guess it is bit clear that if the language is already met as part of ILR. EXEMPTION FROM THE KNOWLEDGE OF LANGUAGE AND LIFE IN THE UK REQUIREMENT: If you have already satisfied the ...

Re: Employer Letter verification - ILR in June

When does your current T1G leave expire? This is to understand whether you could delay your ILR application. The break where you were employed and paid in India during 2011, is the reason I see a issue. Yes I too have the same concern, but as it is only 65 days (within limit of 180 days) can I just ...

Re: Employer Letter verification - ILR in June

Additionally, when you say you were paid in India during Jan & February, was this during your ILR residence period? I.e. 2011? Yes - as explained I had to resign India division(serve the notice period of 3 months :( :( ) and moved to UK in March 2011. I have started job hunt and luckily the same ...

Re: Employer Letter verification - ILR in June

Or do you mean that you were still paid the same salary that you were paid while you were ICT migrant (lower), even after you switched to T1G, up until December 2010? Yes because my company was not ready to move me and I had to resign the company and came back to UK in March 2011. After that they ...

Thanks for the response cs95tdg. Re: Employer Letter verification - ILR in June

Thanks yash84.

But will my low pay of 5k(HMRC records) and 65 days out of UK during 2010-11 will it create any issue with ILR ? If case worker raises any concern then how should I respond to those queries.

Tier 1 General 3) whether you were ...
