Re: British Citizenship - New Online Application

Hi shakeerahT, thanks for the info very useful. Just to double check, you are requirement to submit your passport when doing the online application? As in, home office will keep your passport while they're processing the application - and not just a photocopy. Correct? Original passport must be sub...

Re: ILR - Tier 1 (Gen) - English Language - NARIC Confirmati

Hi skk21 There's FAQ regarding this at http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefinite-leave-to-remain/faqs-english-language-requirements-for-settlement-t193792.html Bottom line, and if I understood you correctly that your question is about proving your english degree, then you need NARIC to confirm it....

Address on Business bank statement

Hi I am on Tier1(G) and applying for ILR as director of ltd company. Within last year, I changed my company address. The change in the company-house and HMRC was in Dec2015, but the bank only updated my company address two month later, that's March 2016. The bank statements for those two months (Jan...

Hi This is a question regarding the "Medium of instruction" that's accepted by NARIC. My university issues the letter stating my name, degree aquired, and date AND a statement in the letter saying "xyz University" is an English-Medium institue. ILR with late entry (94 days)

Hi all,

Initial tier1 date 16-Oct-2010.
UK entry date 20-Jan-2011. (94 days after initial grant.)
Current tier1 expires 16-Oct-2015.

Will those 94 days be counted towards my stay if I apply for ILR in october? Anyone has a similar experience?

Thanks!

Re: Advise on visa renewal/neutralization

Thanks Simon. I was initially granted Tier1 on 16 October, 2010. My first day in the UK was the 21st of January, 2011. Based on what you said, I presume that I would need to extend my Tier1 before April 2015, and then I would need to apply for ILR a year later, followed by neutralization as long as ...

Re: Schengen visa refused twice - Apply third time?

Thanks mr_mar. I am just looking for feedback if anyone on this forum had any similar experience. Whether it's when applying for T1 extension or entering UK. To be honest, I still don't understand why as Tier1 visa holder and UK resident, I still have to apply for a visa to travel to the rest of Eur...

Schengen visa refused twice - Apply third time?

Hi everyone, I applied for a Schengen visa back in January 2014, which got refused. Letter said "justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable." I had a trip panned in February and paid in advance, so once I got the refusal letter, I decided to apply again becaus...

Schengen visa - Reapplying

Hi All, I had applied for a Shengen visa at the french embassy (TLS) end of January 2014, and it got refused. I had ground for appeal, and did, but got no feedback yet. Now I need to go on a annual trip with my company to Spain in June. Do you think if I reapply to Spanish embassy it can be any diff...

Re: Schengen visa refused - French consulate

I have ground for appeal - that was in the refusal letter. Reason was something in the line of "Information submitted regarding the justification and duration of the intended stay were not reliable"

Re: schengen visa refused - french embassy

Hey, thanks for replying.

Yes I can appeal. But the last person i know who appealed the process took him 6 month, and that's too long. Does it make a difference if I apply again without appealing?

Tier 1 extention, non-premium service appointments?

Hi, When I am trying to book an appointment for same-day service, UBKA website asks whether I require premium-service or not... As far as i understand, you can pay online today before 12 and submit the documents later, and your application will still be considered.

But please verify this information on your own if you decided to proceed.
