Hi, I know the website give guidlines on waiting times for visit visas to the uk from pakistan but I am just wondering how long people are actually waiting..anyone recently applied for a visit visa from pakistan? how long did you wait?

All good and well reading most of the feedback on this forum about cases being dealt with in a few weeks but is ANYONE in the same boat as us - been waiting for nearly 1 YEAR??

If you handed in documents in June then that is no time at all, start wondering if you havent heard anything by June next year. The Home Office like to take their time! Especially with cases like this, they can really be dragged out.

We was in the same situation as yourselves, we appealled which was refused and it was said that my husband should go back to his country and apply from there on the grounds of our marriage and children. This is the route we took and he returned and the case was dealt with in 3 months.

you best option is to call home office and let them know you haven't heard from them yet if you applied for naturalisation. it says you have to wait for naturalisation for two week up to four weeks and how did you send it for them? did you send it with special delivery?? Already called them so many...

didnt you give an email address, if you did then they would have emailed you when to submit your passport. maybe send them an email and say that you would prefer contact that way as the postal system is bad in Pakistan. thats what we did.
