Dear Moderators, Hope you can help with this situation. I got my HSMP after 3 April 2006 but before November 2006. Hence I had to apply for an extension and convert my HSMP to Tier 1 visa. Very soon my visa will run out and will need to apply for ILR. I have my wife staying with me. We have a son w...

I included both my children in the application. So the fees was £810.00, which i noticed that has been deducted from my credit card probably in the last 2 days. I did not use NCS - I'm not sure whether MN1 application can be checked by them. My understanding is that they check passport application...

I called up the home office customer service to see why they are increasing the fee's now (especially when they had already done in Oct, 2010). They said that this is because of VAT increase, which seems fair enough..

I am eligible to apply for ILR in May, 2010. Does it mean that (assuming if the Apr 2011 rule is implemented the way it was mentioned in Nov, 2010): 1) I need to show the same (or more) earnings as what was previously claimed when i applied for my Tier 1? 2) Would there be any maintainence funds req...

Jigar, As per the new rules, it is important to maintain the same eligibility criteria. In your case, the earnings band is 49,999 pounds, i suppose. Not sure what your earning are currently. If it qualifies, you will get points for earnings, else you may not. The current band is set at 55,000 pounds.
