I don't think that (paying for hotel room) will be a good solution. My reasons are as follows: 1. Will there be any kind of tenancy agreement on an hotel room for you to show? 2. Will you be able to get any bill (Gas, bank statement etc) as proof of address showing the hotel room as your address? 3....

Re: Govt should honour PSW commitment

Ten of thousands of PSW permit holders are affected by the new rules published by Home Office that came into effect from 19th July 2010. Students who had been granted PSW with the assurance that they can shift to Tier 1 General within a span of 2 years time fulfilling certain conditions are facing ...

No issue during the 2 year period that your visa covers. The only period when there might be concern is when you want to renew the visa (but in your case, it seems you are not interested in that).

I believe it is all about your total earnings/ income. You can start looking for some other/ 2nd job that will augment the total earnings. You don't have to defeat yourself. Strive and work hard and I believe you will be able to meet the requirement.

Wait and collect your 3rd payslip before submitting your application. It's better to wait 1 month and get the visa than waiting for an average of 4 - 6 months for the appeal to come through.

Ok I understand. Please I have one more question: If I add more money to my bank account and the total is now £800 (for myself) + £533 (for my spouse) and I then apply within a month of adding the money to my bank account, will the visa be granted following the ruling of Pankina judgments (July 23...

The money is actually in the bank. So if BHC decide to verify from the bank, the reply will be affirmative. I just want to be 100% sure that I am not doing anything wrong using the same money to apply for my spouse.

Can I use my maintenance fund for my spouse application?

I have maintained the required £800 for 3 months for the HSMP-Tier1 renewal and I have just been granted the renewal (extension) of my visa which will last for another 3 years - Thanks to everybody in the forum. My question now is: Can I immediately apply for my spouse (who is currently outside UK)...
