Not that I know of. The Biomectric letter was dated November 16 but I did it on November 21st within the 15 day period. All documentation sent originally was accepted by the UKBA

Thought also it was the acknowledgement date from UKBA should be the date considered and not the date I sent!

@andie_83

Am sure the email addresses I shared recently give some hope since the majority of us were not receiving any replies from the usual complaint UKBA channels.

This week is yours and I really hope it will be good news!

@dupuytren: I think that the PA has done well. She mentioned that your case has already been expedited which means its highly unlikely that it will take a further six months to complete. I believe within a few weeks or less your case would have been dealt with. To date, neither my MP or myself got r...

By the way I believe my email worked. Received a reply today to confirm that my case has been successfully dealt with. This question is for any of the maestros: I am less than a week short of my 8 month waiting for UKBA to decide my application. Am I eligible to apply for citizenship with the 15 mon...

I appreciate your advise. I do think that a supporting letter would be necessary along with the certificate. Will ask the college to give me an updated letter. Many thanks again.

Please advise

The letter states it would be issued by the awarding body by March. However, my certificate arrived in the post la...

Pankina Judgement worked for me!

Last Saturday I got an unexpected surprise. Received a letter from UKBA along with my passport to say that my Biometric card would be with me in a couple of days. Then after that good news, got even better news when a courier arrived with my Biometric card about 8 minutes later! I was filled with co...

Seeking Advice

I am a bit concerned since I sent a letter to UKBA requesting reconsideration of my Tier 4 (student) visa extension which was refused solely on Maintenance grounds. This was following the Pankina judgements on July 23 2010. Prior to that judgement I wanted a solicitor to represent me at the hearing ...
